Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is in full control of his emotions during an emotional interview with reporters on Thursday.
Rodgers was asked about a few things and said nothing but added that it’s all about being a leader.
“I can’t do that,” Rodgers said.
“Because I’m a leader, and we’re going to be a good team.”
He said the Packers will go through the motions.
“We’re going through the steps,” Rodgers told reporters.
“It’s the same thing as the first time we were here.
We’re going down the list.
We have to do the same things every week.
He added, “I’m ready to go. “
That’s what we’re gonna do, but I just feel like we have to be more prepared, not be afraid to be better every week.”
He added, “I’m ready to go.
I feel good.
I have a great confidence that I’m gonna be the best quarterback I can be.”
He was asked if he was worried about being sacked in the preseason.
“Not at all,” he said.
Aaron Rodgers, on the Packers being prepared for the NFL season: “I don’t worry about being on the field.
I worry about playing well.”
The Packers won’t be in the playoffs until 2018, which means the playoffs are not an option for them in 2017.
Rodgers was asked when he would start the season.
“As soon as I can,” he answered.
“Until we get to the playoffs, I guess.
But I’m ready.”
Rodards interview with NFL Network’s “Mike and Mike” aired on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2017 at 8:30 p.m.
