The city’s local newspaper, The Advocate, will lose almost 1,200 jobs by 2021.
The newspaper said its delivery drivers would be offered a three-year contract with an incentive of $3,500.
The paper said the job would pay at least $10,000 annually.
The newspaper has lost $2.3 million in a year.
The Advocate has been unable to keep its reporters on the beat.
